Jennifer Pearlman, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Jennifer Pearlman, FNP is a Texas credentialed and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her advanced degree from The University of Texas at Tyler. Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer worked several years as an ICU nurse. These years of ICU experience developed a foundation of skills to work with critically ill patients while thinking fast on her feet to reach a positive outcome. Jennifer was then asked to be the supervising/interim director for a Collin County surgical center that specializes in orthopedic surgeries. Jennifer enjoyed working in orthopedics and experiencing the patient’s progress firsthand.

In 2020 our country was hit with the COVID-19 virus and Jennifer was moved to return to the ICU where nurses were desperately needed. Jennifer continued to take care of critically ill patients during this unprecedented time period while furthering her education to become the best Family Nurse Practitioner that she could be. Upon completion of her advanced degree, Jennifer was asked to join a hospitalist medical group in Dallas. She worked in a long/acute care hospital and ambulatory surgery center.

After working in a hospital setting for most of her career, Jennifer made the decision to change her course to Family and Preventative Care. The MaxHealth setting creates a unique opportunity for Jennifer to combine her years of experience and participate with patients as a knowledgeable medical resource and educator. Jennifer is driven to work alongside each patient to minimize the likelihood of chronic disease and to be a part of maximizing each patient’s quality of life!

In her spare time, she is a health/gym enthusiast, loves to travel and spend as much time as she can with her husband, bird, dog, and the beautiful outdoors.
